INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
Design Peace is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will never sell, share or rent a customer's name or email address to any other party or organization, except a party affiliated with Design Peace, without the customer's permission unless we are required to do so by law or we, in good faith, believe that such action is necessary to (1) comply with the law or with legal process; (2) protect and defend our rights and property; (3) protect against misuse or unauthorized use of Design Peace's Web site; or (4) protect the personal safety or property of our customers, our employees or the public (among other things, this means that if you provide false registration information or attempt to pose as someone else, information about you including your computer's IP address may be disclosed as part of any investigation into your actions.) We will disclose this information and order information to Design Peace to assure continued or superior service.
SECURITY
Design Peace takes precautions to protect users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line. When our order form asks you to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with sophisticated encryption software. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of web browsers such as Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked, when you are just 'surfing'. REGISTRATION
During registration a user is required to give their contact information (such as name and e-mail address). This information is used to contact the user about the services provided on our site and we retain this information.
ORDER
We request information from all users on our order form. Here a user must provide contact information (such as name and shipping address) and financial information (such as paypal account). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders only. Email address may be used for confirmation of an order by Design Peace and confirmation of shipment by USPS or UPS. If we have trouble processing an order, this information is used to contact the user for resolution. This information will be retained by Design Peace to enable ease of future ordering.
COOKIES
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site.
LOG FILES
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track pages visited, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
SHARING
We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for orders placed. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
